    Door Courtesy Light Switch Set for Mitsubishi ??

    This small door-trigger switch set is what tells the cabin light when a door is opened or fully shut. It’s needed for night safety, easy entry/exit, and to keep the battery protected by making sure the interior lamp turns off at the right time.

    How It Works

    The switch sits in the door jamb area and acts like a simple on/off signal. When the door opens, the plunger releases and completes the circuit so the courtesy lamp comes on. When the door closes, the plunger is pressed in, breaking the circuit and switching the lamp off. This set typically includes the switch body and fitting hardware for a solid, vibration-proof mount.

    What Happens If It Fails

    • Cabin light stays on ➜ battery drain overnight ?
    • Light doesn’t come on ➜ poor visibility and missed items in the cabin
    • Intermittent flicker ➜ worn contacts, corrosion, or loose mounting
    • Door-ajar warning (if equipped) may act incorrectly

    Why Replace It Early
