    Honda Cylinder Head Gasket 🔧

    This engine sealing gasket is fitted between the cylinder head and engine block. Its job is simple but very important: it keeps compression inside the cylinders, seals engine oil passages, and separates coolant channels. A good seal helps the Honda engine run smooth, keep power, and avoid overheating.

    During combustion, very high pressure and heat are produced inside the engine. The head gasket holds this pressure in place and stops oil, coolant, and exhaust gases from mixing. It is a key spare part when rebuilding the engine, replacing the cylinder head, or repairing overheating damage.

    How It Works ⚙️

    When the cylinder head is tightened to the correct torque, the gasket is compressed evenly between two metal surfaces. This creates a strong barrier around each cylinder bore and fluid passage. It must handle heat expansion, vibration, and constant pressure changes while keeping a clean seal.

    Signs of a Broken Gasket ⚠️

    If this gasket fails, the engine may lose compression, overheat, burn coolant, or produce white exhaust smoke. You may also see oil in coolant, coolant in oil, bubbles in the radiator, rough idle, or hard starting. Driving with a damaged gasket can lead to warped cylinder head, bearing wear, and costly engine repair.
