    This precision pulley keeps your air-conditioning drive belt aligned and stable, so the compressor spins at the correct speed. It reduces belt slip, heat, and noise, helping your Nissan/Infiniti cool fast and stay quiet. Built to OE specs with a sealed high-speed bearing, it delivers long service life and protects the belt and compressor.

    Why your vehicle needs it

    Without a healthy idler, the A/C belt can wander or slip. That strains the compressor clutch, shortens belt life, and weakens cabin cooling—especially in hot weather or stop‑and‑go traffic.

    How it works

    The pulley rides on a lubricated, sealed bearing and guides the serpentine/A/C belt across the compressor path. Correct diameter and offset keep perfect belt tracking, maintaining tension and efficient power transfer from the crankshaft.

    What happens if it fails ⚠️

    Common signs include chirp/squeal, rattling, wobble, belt glazing, or frayed edges. Left unchecked, the belt can jump or snap, cutting A/C, and possibly affecting charging or steering if belts share paths. Bearing failure can also damage the compressor clutch.

    Install notes

    Direct-fit replacement. Swap with basic hand tools, torque the center bolt, spin-check for smoothness, and inspect/replace the belt if worn. Recheck alignment after a short test drive.
