Old rubber hardens, sags, or tears from heat, oil, and torque. A fresh mount restores OEM ride quality, protects exhaust joints, hoses, and shafts, and reduces stress on the transmission and other mounts.
How it works
A bonded rubber-to-steel design with a center sleeve and side plates. The rubber works in shear and compression to absorb engine shake (NVH) while the metal shells hold alignment under load. Built to correct height and durometer for precise fit.
If the mount is bad ❗
Expect rough idle, clunk on start/shift, shudder on take-off, misaligned fan or shroud, and more cabin buzz. Continued use can crack exhaust, stress radiator, wear U-joints, and damage adjacent mounts. Replace and torque at ride height for best life.
