Engine Control Computer Module (ECU)

This control unit is the “brain” of the engine. It is needed to manage fuel delivery, ignition timing, idle speed, and many sensor signals so the engine starts fast, runs smooth, and stays efficient 🚗⚡. When everything is correct, you get better power, cleaner emissions, and stable fuel economy.

How It Works

The module reads data from key sensors (airflow/pressure, coolant temp, throttle position, oxygen sensor, crank/cam signals). It then calculates the right injector pulse and spark timing in milliseconds. It also controls actuators like the idle valve and can communicate with diagnostics for fault codes 🛠️.

Why Replacement Matters

A failing unit can cause hard starting, random stalling, misfires, poor acceleration, high fuel use, and warning lights. In worse cases, the engine may enter limp mode or not start at all.
