This rear lamp assembly keeps your truck visible and legal on the road. It seals the bulbs/electronics from water, provides correct red/amber/clear optics, and restores factory look. You need it when the lens is cracked, faded, or the housing is warped—issues that reduce brightness, invite moisture, and risk a fine or rear-end collision.

How It Works

The molded lens has colored sections with built-in reflectors. Behind it, the housing holds bulb sockets or an LED board and a gasket that locks out dust and rain. When you brake, turn, or reverse, the optics focus the light to meet DOT/ECE patterns. The unit bolts to the bed/quarter panel and connects to the OE plug for a secure, flicker-free signal.

What Happens If It’s Broken ⚠️

Cracks cause condensation, corrosion, dim output, and blown fuses. Faded plastic washes out signals; miscolored light can fail inspection. Water intrusion may short the circuit, trigger fast blink (hyperflash),or leave you with no brake light—dangerous at night and in bad weather.

Installation Tips

Bolt-on fit. Transfer bulbs if needed, clean mating surface, seat the gasket, apply dielectric grease, then test running, brake, turn, and reverse before final tightening.
