Rear Wheel Hub Assembly for Subaru

Keep your Subaru rolling quiet and straight with a premium rear wheel hub assembly. It replaces the worn hub/bearing unit on the back axle, restoring smooth rotation, tight wheel alignment, and correct ABS readings. Built to OEM geometry for a true bolt-on fit and long service life.

Why you need this part

Rear hub bearings wear from mileage, potholes, water intrusion, or over-torqued wheels. Symptoms include humming between 40–70 mph, play at 12/6 o’clock, uneven tire wear, ABS light, heat at the hub, and wandering under braking.

How it works

This sealed double-row bearing sits in a rigid housing with a wheel flange and studs. It supports vehicle weight, keeps the wheel true, and centers the brake rotor. An integrated magnetic encoder feeds the ABS sensor for traction control. Factory grease and multi-lip seals lock out dirt and moisture.

What happens if it’s bad ⚠️

Noise grows to a drone, vibration increases, and stopping distances can rise as ABS readings turn erratic. Heat may warp the rotor; severe neglect risks bearing seizure or wheel wobble—major safety hazard.

Install tips ✅

Direct bolt-on—no pressing needed. Clean the knuckle, torque mounting bolts and axle nut to spec, connect the ABS lead, and verify free spin. Use anti-seize on the mating face and replace the hub nut/cotter if required.
