Why it’s needed

The manifold gathers hot gases from each exhaust port and guides them into the front pipe and catalytic converter. A healthy unit maintains proper backpressure, protects nearby wiring and hoses from heat, stabilizes oxygen sensor readings, and keeps fumes out of the cabin.
