Viscous Fan Clutch for Engine Cooling

This heavy‑duty fan drive regulates radiator airflow so your engine runs at the right temperature every day, in traffic or on long hills. It restores factory cooling performance, reduces noise, and helps A/C efficiency at idle. Built for durability, it’s the smart replacement to keep your cooling system reliable and fuel‑efficient. ❄️

Why this part is needed ️

A healthy clutch engages the fan only when heat demands it. That keeps coolant temps stable, protects the head gasket, hoses, and radiator, and prevents power loss from an always‑on fan. It also supports condenser airflow, so cabin A/C stays cold in slow driving.

How it works ️

Inside, silicone fluid and a bimetal thermostatic spring control coupling. As under‑hood heat rises, the valve opens, fluid thickens the link between plates, and the fan locks to pull strong air through the radiator and condenser. When temps drop, shear reduces grip and the fan freewheels, saving fuel and reducing noise.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

  • Overheating at idle or on climbs
  • Constant loud fan roar and higher fuel use
  • Sluggish acceleration, poor A/C at stops
  • Coolant boil‑over, warped head if ignored

Check for oil seepage at the hub, wobble, or rough bearings. Replace promptly; don’t run without the shroud, and torque bolts evenly. ✅
