    Front shock dust cover for Mitsubishi 4x4s

    This protective boot shields the front strut rod from dust, mud, stones, and road salt. It keeps the seal clean, the oil inside, and the ride smooth. If you drive on rough roads or in wet climates, this small guard is a big saver for your suspension and tires.

    Why this part is needed ️

    Without a guard, grit scratches the chromed rod, the seal wears out, and the shock starts to leak. That quickly reduces damping and makes steering feel loose. The cover extends strut life and helps prevent costly replacements.

    How it works ⚙️

    The flexible sleeve sits over the strut rod and bump stop. It moves with the suspension, deflecting debris while allowing air to breathe so the stroke stays smooth. It clips or seats into the upper seat/lower perch for a secure fit.

    If the cover is broken ⚠️

    Expect pitting on the rod, oil seepage, squeaks over bumps, harsh ride, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and premature strut failure. Long term, it can stress mounts and ball joints.

    Install tips

    Replace in pairs, inspect bump stops and mounts, and torque hardware with wheels on the ground. Perfect for service when changing shocks or springs.
