Front Stabilizer Bar Bushing (Anti-Roll Bar Mount)

This small rubber mount is a big reason your car feels stable in corners. The front stabilizer bar bushing holds the anti-roll bar firmly to the chassis while still allowing smooth twist movement as the suspension travels. It is needed to control body roll, reduce sway, and keep steering response sharp without adding harsh vibration.

How It Works ⚙️

The stabilizer bar twists when one wheel moves up more than the other. The bushing acts like a cushioned bearing: it grips the bar, absorbs road noise, and lets the bar rotate under load. A good bushing keeps the bar centered and prevents metal-to-metal contact, protecting brackets and links.

What Happens If It’s Worn or Broken

When the bushing cracks, hardens, or loosens, you may hear clunks over bumps, feel extra body roll, and notice vague handling. In severe cases the bar shifts, stressing end links and brackets, causing uneven tire wear and reduced safety during emergency turns.
