Cabin Heater Radiator for Mitsubishi 4x4 HVAC System
This cabin heater radiator is the heart of your interior heating circuit. It is needed to warm the air that comes from the vents, remove windshield fog fast, and keep the cabin comfortable in cold or wet weather. A healthy unit also helps the HVAC system balance temperature smoothly without overworking the blower.
How It Works ⚙️
Hot engine coolant flows through small aluminum/brass tubes inside the heater radiator. As the fan pushes air across the fins, heat transfers into the cabin air stream. Temperature is controlled by blend doors and coolant flow, giving steady heat at idle or on the highway.
When It Fails
A clogged core causes weak heat, slow defrost, and temperature swings. A leaking core can leave a sweet coolant smell, damp carpets, greasy window film, or coolant loss that may lead to engine overheating. Ignoring leaks can damage trim, wiring, and HVAC components.
