    Clutch Release Fork Support (Pivot Bracket)

    This clutch hardware piece is a small but critical support that holds the release fork at the correct angle inside the bellhousing. It is needed to keep clutch movement smooth and centered, especially on heavier drivetrains where clutch loads are higher.

    How It Works ⚙️

    When you press the clutch pedal, the hydraulic slave cylinder pushes the release fork. The fork rotates on this support point, transferring force to the release bearing, which then presses the pressure plate fingers to disengage the clutch. A solid pivot keeps the fork from twisting, binding, or walking off line.

    Why Replacing Matters ✅

    If the support wears, cracks, or loosens, the fork loses its true pivot. You may notice a heavy or inconsistent pedal, poor gear engagement, clutch drag, or squeaks and knocking from the bellhousing. Left unchecked, it can damage the release bearing, fork, or pressure plate, leading to hard shifting and possible clutch failure.
