How it works

The pump pushes fluid through a hose into the nozzle body. Inside are micro-orifices and a check valve that shape the stream and stop drain-back. The clip-in housing seats on the hood or cowl; an O‑ring seals it tight. Aim is adjustable with a small pin to set spray height. Proper atomization gives wide, even coverage with minimal waste, reducing refill frequency.

When it fails ⚠️

Clogs from hard water, wax, or dirt cause weak or split spray. Cracks or a stuck valve lead to leaks, dripping, or delayed spray after parking. Then wipers run dry, scratching glass and wearing blades, while the pump overworks and hoses may pop off. Replace at once if the jet is mis-aimed, brittle, or blocked; installation is quick—disconnect hose, unclip, click in new, and re-aim. Use quality fluid and flush lines to prevent repeat issues. ✅
