This under‑dash power node is the heart of the cabin electrics. It distributes battery and ignition power, hosts key fuses and micro‑relays, and links multiple harnesses. In simple terms, it is the protected hub that keeps lights, wipers, blower, windows, and accessories running safely and reliably.

Why you need it ⚙️

It protects circuits from overloads, organizes wiring, and ensures clean signals to body control electronics. Using the correct spec unit keeps voltage drop low, prevents heat at terminals, and restores OEM electrical performance.

How it works

Incoming B+ and IG feeds pass through copper busbars to labeled fuse paths. Relays are triggered by the body ECU, switching power to loads. Robust connectors lock the body, dash, and engine‑room looms together while integrated grounds stabilize sensors.

If it’s faulty ❗

Expect intermittent no‑start, dead windows, inop blower/wipers, random warning lamps, blown fuses, hot/melted pins, or parasitic drain. Left unchecked, shorts can damage harness plugs.

Tech notes ️

Disconnect battery, swap over fuses/relays like‑for‑like, seat all plugs until they click, and keep the area dry. Using an OEM‑grade block with tin‑plated terminals prevents arcing and future voltage loss.
