Why you need it

The blower pushes air through the evaporator and heater core, then into the vents. Without it, the A/C cannot cool, the heater warms slowly, and the windshield takes longer to clear. Replacing a tired fan brings back factory airflow, comfort, and visibility.

How it works

An electric DC motor spins a balanced centrifugal impeller (squirrel-cage). The climate panel and resistor/control module set speed. Air is drawn through the cabin filter, routed across the evaporator or heater core, and delivered to ducts. Sealed bearings and balanced blades reduce noise and vibration.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Signs include weak or no airflow, only one speed working, squeaks or rattles, burning smell, and blown fuses. Results: poor cooling/heating, foggy glass, driver fatigue, and possible stress on the A/C system due to low airflow across the evaporator.

Install tips ✅

Plug-and-play connectors. Mount under the dash; transfer any gasket, ensure impeller spins free, and torque screws evenly. Replace a clogged cabin filter and inspect the resistor if only high speed worked. Test all fan speeds after install.
