Engine Torque Rod Mount for Nissan Crossovers

Why this part is needed

Under hard starts, sudden stops, and gear changes, the powertrain twists. This torque rod holds the engine and transmission in line with the subframe, cutting vibration, protecting other mounts, and keeping shifts smooth. It keeps exhaust joints, axles, and hoses from being stressed, extending the life of nearby parts.

How it works

A strong steel arm with vulcanized rubber bushings links the gearbox bracket to the body. The rubber absorbs NVH while the arm controls fore‑aft movement. During acceleration and deceleration, it resists rocking so torque goes to the wheels, not into the cabin. Precisely tuned durometer gives firm control with quiet comfort.

What happens if it’s broken

Expect clunks on takeoff, harsh shifts, steering shake at idle, and more cabin buzz ️. Excess engine travel can crack hoses, stress exhaust flex pipes, and wear side mounts early. In severe cases, wheel hop and traction loss appear on wet roads.
