Engine Oil Pan Assembly — OEM Sump for Infiniti/Nissan

This oil sump is the lower reservoir of the lubrication system. It stores engine oil, seals the crankcase, cools the fluid with airflow, and provides a secure drain point. Why you need it

How it works

Oil returns by gravity to the sump. The pump’s pickup draws from the pan, feeding bearings, cams, and chains. Cooling fins and airflow lower oil temperature for longer life.

When it’s damaged

Dents or cracks cause leaks, oil light warnings, ticking or knocking, blue smoke, and bearing wear. A warped flange or stripped drain plug crush washer means constant seepage and messy services ⚠️.
