Right Front Lower Control Arm for Mazda
This OEM-style suspension arm links the wheel knuckle to the front subframe on the passenger side. It restores factory geometry, smooth ride, and precise steering. Ideal as a direct replacement for damaged or worn units, it brings your Mazda back to tight, confident handling.
Why this part is needed
Daily use, potholes, curb hits, or corrosion wear the bushings and ball joint. Symptoms include clunks over bumps, steering pull, drifting on the highway, and uneven tire wear. Replacing the lower control arm returns correct alignment and braking stability.
How it works
The arm pivots on two rubber bushings at the chassis and a sealed ball joint at the knuckle. Bushings absorb vibration; the ball joint lets the wheel steer and move vertically. Together they hold camber and caster in spec so the tire stays flat on the road.
What happens if itβs bad β οΈ
Expect shimmy, metal knocks, vague steering, longer stops, and saw-tooth tire wear. Severe play can trigger ABS/traction alerts. In extreme failure, the ball joint may separate, risking wheel collapse.
Fitment and install tips β
Right-hand/front only. Replace in pairs for best results. Torque fasteners at ride height and get a four-wheel alignment after install. New hardware is recommended. Pre-fitted bushings/ball joint included on most versions. Verify by VIN/OE before purchase .
