Clutch Release Fork – Precision Lever for Smooth Shifts ⚙️

This heavy‑duty lever lives between the slave cylinder and the release bearing, turning pedal force into a straight, controlled push on the pressure plate fingers. It keeps clutch action light, consistent, and quiet on road and off‑road.

Why you need it

A sound fork preserves correct clutch geometry and pedal feel. It prevents drag, protects gearbox synchros, and reduces wear on the pressure plate and disc—key to smooth, reliable shifting and long clutch life.

How it works

Press the pedal and the slave pushrod moves. The fork pivots on its ball stud, driving the release bearing toward the diaphragm spring. Heat‑treated steel and precise pad faces spread load evenly, cutting friction and noise for cleaner engagement.

If it fails ❗

Expect hard or notchy shifts, grinding into gears, squeaks, uneven release, or a soft/stuck pedal. A bent or cracked lever causes incomplete disengagement, overheats the disc, chews the release bearing, and can damage synchros. Severe failure leaves you unable to select gears.

Fitment notes

Always inspect/replace pivot ball and retaining clip; apply a thin high‑temp grease to contact points only.
