Premium Windshield Perimeter Moulding for Mitsubishi Compacts
This OEM-grade windshield trim seals the gap between the glass and the body, shields the urethane bond, and gives a clean factory finish. Why you need it ️
A healthy moulding keeps the cabin dry, reduces whistle at speed, and prevents paint damage at the glass flange. It also protects the windshield adhesive, helping maintain structural safety in a crash.
How it works
A flexible EPDM profile with a small spine locks into the body channel using retainers. The outer lip presses on the windshield to form a weatherstrip. UV-stabilized material resists hardening, while precise shape ensures OEM fit and finish.
When it fails ️
Expect wind noise, water seepage, loose or flapping trim, and visible gaps. Corners may shrink or crack, exposing the urethane bead. Long term, this can lead to corrosion at the pinch-weld and a weaker glass bond.
Install tips
Dry-fit first, replace worn clips, clean the flange, seat evenly without stretching, and warm the part for best contour. Wash with mild soap; avoid petroleum products.
