Premium Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor for Toyota

Keep your engine clean and efficient with a high-precision oxygen sensor. This unit continually reports exhaust oxygen to the ECU, delivering accurate fueling, smooth idle, strong mid‑range torque, lower emissions, and better fuel economy .

Why this part is needed

Modern EFI relies on exact O2 feedback. Replacing a tired sensor restores closed‑loop control, protects the catalytic converter, reduces fuel waste, and helps pass emissions tests.

How it works ⚙️

Inside is a heated zirconia cell. As exhaust flows, it generates a voltage (~0.1–0.9 V) indicating rich or lean mixture. The ECU trims fuel in real time based on this signal. An integrated heater brings the sensor to temp quickly for faster closed‑loop after start. Rugged stainless shell, correct thread, and sealed connector ensure reliable fit.

What happens if it’s broken ⚠️

Expect poor MPG ⛽, rough idle, lazy acceleration, sulfur smell, black tailpipe, and a Check Engine Light (common codes P0130–P0161). Prolonged failure can overheat and poison the catalyst, leading to costly repairs.

Tip: Install with a small amount of anti‑seize on threads only, torque to spec, keep the lead away from hot manifolds, then clear fault codes.
