Oxygen (O2) Exhaust Sensor
This sensor is vital for keeping the engine running clean and efficient. It measures the oxygen level in the exhaust stream and sends a signal to the ECU so fuel delivery can be corrected in real time. How It Works
Mounted in the exhaust, the sensing tip reacts to oxygen content after combustion. The ECU reads the changing voltage/resistance signal and adjusts injector pulse to keep the mixture near ideal.
