Premium Steering Angle Sensor for Toyota

This precision steering angle sensor keeps your car’s safety and assist systems working in sync. It feeds the exact steering wheel position to EPS, VSC/ESC, ABS, traction control, and lane keeping. You need it to keep straight-line stability, smooth cornering, and confident braking on wet or rough roads.

How it works βš™οΈ

Inside the module, a high-resolution encoder (optical/Hall) tracks wheel rotation and direction. The unit outputs angle and turn rate via CAN bus with zero-point calibration. The control units use this data to compare driver intent with vehicle motion for instant corrections. The housing is sealed for long life and consistent signal.

What happens if it’s broken ❗

Warning lamps (VSC/TRC/EPS/ABS) appear, steering assist may feel uneven, lane keep can disable, and stability control reacts late or not at all. Braking distances may increase on slippery roads, and the car can wander after bumps. If the sensor drifts or loses zero, systems misjudge your input.

Install and setup tips ️

Plug-and-play fit. Center the steering wheel, align the clockspring, connect firmly, then perform zero-point calibration with a scan tool. Clear DTCs and road-test on a straight road.
