Windshield Wiper Control Switch
This cabin control switch is the driver’s command center for front wipers and washer spray. It’s needed for safe visibility in rain, mud, sand, or snow—especially on heavy-duty 4x4 use. ✅
How It Works
When you move the lever, internal contacts send signals to the wiper circuit to select OFF, intermittent, low, and high speed. On washer mode, it triggers the washer pump and can also cue the wipers to sweep automatically. The switch is designed to keep steady electrical continuity even with frequent use. 💧
Signs the Switch Is Failing
- Wipers only work on one speed or stop randomly
- Intermittent mode not responding
- Washer spray works but wipers don’t (or the reverse)

If Driven With a Broken Switch
