Upper Windshield Trim Seal for Roof Edge

Why this part is needed
The trim shields the urethane bond and roof seam from UV and water, keeping the windshield seated and the cabin dry. It also smooths airflow over the top of the glass to reduce whistle and vibration at speed .
How it works
A flexible profile (usually EPDM/PVC with a stabilizer) snaps or presses along the glass edge and roof channel. Clips and/or tape hold it in place, forming a continuous lip that deflects water and seals micro-gaps ️. Proper seating keeps pressure even along the entire span.
What happens if it’s broken
