Front Right ABS Wheel Speed Sensor
This ABS pickup is a critical safety spare part that reads the rotation speed of the front right wheel and sends a clean signal to the ABS/ESC control unit. It helps the car brake hard without wheel lock-up, keeping steering control on wet roads, gravel, or during emergency stops ?.
Why this part is needed
Modern braking systems rely on accurate wheel-speed data to balance brake pressure. When one wheel slows too fast, the control unit reacts instantly to prevent skidding and to support traction and stability functions.
How it works
The sensor tip sits close to a tone ring (or magnetic encoder) on the hub. As the wheel turns, it generates pulses. The ABS module counts these pulses to calculate speed in real time and adjusts hydraulic pressure when slip is detected ⚙️.
