Rear-Right ABS Wheel Speed Sensor for Mitsubishi Pickups

This sensor restores factory ABS and stability control on the rear-right hub. It provides accurate wheel speed data so your brake module can manage traction, shorten stopping distances, and keep the truck composed on wet, gravel, or rough roads.

Why you need it βœ…

ABS, ASC/traction control, and hill-start functions depend on a clean signal from each wheel. With a healthy sensor, the system prevents rear lockup, improves steering control during hard braking, and protects tires and pads from uneven wear.

How it works ️

A Hall-effect element reads the toothed tone ring at the hub. As teeth pass the tip, the sensor outputs a square-wave signal through a sealed harness to the ECU. Correct air gap and alignment keep the waveform strong. The rugged body resists mud, salt, heat, and vibration.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

ABS/ASC lights turn on, traction control disables, stopping distance grows on slick roads, and low-speed speedometer readings may flicker. You may feel brake bias shift, get pad glazing, or hear the system stop pulsing. Common causes: broken lead from axle flex, corroded connector, metallic debris on the tip.

Tech tips

Clean the tone ring, set the cable in all clips, avoid stretching the lead, lightly torque the bracket bolt, and clear DTCs after install.
