Rear Right ABS Wheel Speed Sensor for Mitsubishi

This rear-right wheel speed sensor keeps your Anti‑lock Braking System, traction control, and stability control working at full strength. It constantly sends precise wheel speed data so the ECU can prevent lockup and maintain grip in hard stops or slick roads. Safer braking, straighter tracking, and confident acceleration out of corners depend on this small but critical part. ✅

Why you need it ️

Without a healthy sensor, ABS and ASC systems cannot balance brake pressure. The car may skid sooner, stop longer, and lose traction support in rain or snow.

How it works

A magnetic/Hall element faces the hub’s tone ring. As teeth pass, it creates a digital pulse. The ECU reads these pulses in milliseconds, compares all wheels, and modulates brake pressure only where needed.

What happens if it fails ⚠️

ABS/ASC lights on, traction disabled, longer braking distance, pedal pulsation at low speed, possible erratic speed reading, stored fault codes, and uneven brake wear. Right‑rear data loss also affects stability logic in fast corners.

Fitment notes ️

Mounts at the rear hub, right side. Check tone ring for rust, keep gap clean, route harness on original clips, and protect connector with dielectric grease.
