Rear Right ABS Wheel Speed Sensor ?

This sensor is a key part of the ABS braking system. It is needed to monitor how fast the rear right wheel is turning and to help the control unit prevent wheel lock during hard braking or on wet roads. When ABS works correctly, you keep steering control and braking stays stable.

How It Works βš™οΈ

The sensor reads wheel rotation from a tone ring (or magnetic encoder) near the hub. It sends an accurate speed signal to the ABS module. If the wheel starts to slow too quickly compared to others, the ABS module pulses brake pressure to reduce skidding and improve grip.

What Happens If It’s Broken ❗

A faulty sensor can trigger the ABS warning light, disable ABS function, and cause longer stopping distance on slippery surfaces. In some cases you may feel irregular ABS activation, lose traction-control support (if equipped), or notice speed signal issues depending on vehicle setup. Replacing a weak sensor restores correct braking feedback and safer driving.
