Camshaft Position Sensor for Suzuki Engines
This precision camshaft timing sensor keeps your Suzuki engine in sync. It feeds exact cam phase data to the ECU, so ignition and fuel injection fire at the right moment. Built to OE geometry with a heat‑resistant housing, sealed connector, and fast Hall‑effect pickup, it restores factory start‑up, idle, power, and emissions.
Why you need it
Without accurate cam feedback, the ECU can’t identify the compression stroke. That means delayed starts, weak low‑end torque, higher fuel use, and increased emissions. A healthy sensor ensures smooth cold starts, clean acceleration, and stable idle.
How it works ⚙️
A trigger wheel on the camshaft passes the sensor tip. The sensor outputs a clean digital signal; the ECU reads each edge, pairs it with the crank signal, and calculates exact cylinder timing for sequential injection and coil control.
What happens if it breaks
Symptoms include long cranking or no‑start, rough idle, misfires, limp mode, poor economy, and a check engine light (often P0340/P0341). Prolonged driving can foul plugs and overheat the catalytic converter. Replace at the first sign; installation is plug‑and‑play—swap the O‑ring, keep the tip clean, and secure the hold‑down bolt.
