Automatic Transmission Range Safety Switch ⚙️
This electrical selector switch is a key safety and control part in vehicles with an automatic gearbox. It tells the car’s computer and starter circuit which gear position you have chosen (P, R, N, D). Without this correct signal, the vehicle cannot manage starting logic and reverse light commands properly.

How it works ?
The switch is mounted on the transmission case and is linked to the shift mechanism. Inside, contact tracks or sensors change the output signal as the selector moves. The ECU/TCU reads this information to allow cranking only in Park/Neutral and to trigger functions like reverse lamps.
