Front Brake Caliper Seal Set for Subaru ?

This OEM-quality rebuild set restores tight sealing in the front disc brake caliper. You need it when you see fluid sweat around the piston, a soft pedal, uneven pad wear, or after a caliper teardown. Fresh seals keep hydraulic pressure stable, improve pedal feel, and extend rotor and pad life. It is a smart, low-cost fix before replacing the whole caliper.

How it works βš™οΈ

The square-cut piston seal holds brake fluid under high pressure and gently retracts the piston when you release the pedal. The outer dust boot blocks water, salt, and grit. Together they prevent leaks and corrosion, keeping the caliper sliding smoothly and the pads applying evenly.

What happens if seals fail ❗

Brake fluid leaks, long pedal travel, pulling to one side, hot rotors, and rapid pad wear can occur. Dirt can pit the piston, the caliper may seize, and stopping distance increases. In extreme cases you risk total brake lossβ€”do not ignore these signs.

Fit and materials ?️

Designed for Subaru front disc calipers. Made from high-temp EPDM rubber compatible with DOT 3/4 fluid. Typical set includes piston seals and dust boots.

Install tips βœ…

Clean the bore with brake cleaner only. Lubricate with fresh brake fluid. Never use mineral grease. Inspect pistons and slides, replace if pitted. Seat the boot lip correctly, torque hardware to spec, then bleed the system. Always check for leaks and a firm pedal before driving.
