    Engine Piston Ring Set ?️

    This internal engine service set is required to restore proper cylinder sealing in your Nissan diesel/petrol engine. The rings sit in grooves around each piston and create a tight barrier between the piston and cylinder wall. This helps the engine keep compression, control oil consumption, and transfer heat from the piston into the cylinder for stable running.

    How it works ⚙️

    During each stroke, the compression rings hold pressure inside the combustion chamber, while the oil control ring scrapes excess oil back to the sump. A light oil film remains for lubrication, reducing friction and keeping power consistent.

    Why you may need it ✅

    • Low compression or hard starting
    • Blue smoke and rising oil use
    • Loss of power under load
    • Blow-by fumes from the breather

    If the rings are worn or broken ?

    Expect misfires, weak acceleration, higher fuel use, oil fouled spark/glow plugs, and possible cylinder wall scoring. Ignoring it can lead to major engine rebuild costs.
